Aeon Mall in China held an accelerator program. It is a program that recruits people who resonate with Aeon Mall's vision in China and can create new businesses by utilizing Aeon Group's assets, and then screens and supports their ideas. We proceeded with the project among global members, together with the local Aeon Mall team in China.
Aeon Mall, famous in Japan, still has a long way to go in terms of recognition in China. That's why it was necessary to design a website that clearly conveyed Aeon Mall's features and vision, while also catching the eye of local Chinese people and making them want to participate.
While communicating with the local team, we devised a design that could clearly convey Aeon Mall's vision and assets to local startups, and we were able to provide a design that felt natural and also caught the eye.
While being in China, conveying the strengths of a Japanese company while creating designs and presentations preferred by the local Chinese audience became a much more difficult task than simply creating a website. We conducted extensive research on various laws and rules, as well as what kind of designs are preferred.
Furthermore, we considered whether it felt natural to local members and if Chinese users would perceive it as good. Prior to that, the painstaking work of ensuring readability, usability, and information delivery while understanding a culture different from Japan's was a highly educational task for us.
We not only handled everything from screen design, visual design, to coding, but also consulted with local members to adjust content and expressions according to the marketing activities to be implemented. I believe we were able to create a website that maximized the user flow design and image originally conceived by the team.

We completed it all at once in one month. Cross-border projects present challenges such as communication costs and complex communication. We implemented various measures, such as striving for simpler and clearer outputs.
For these reasons, cross-border projects are more expensive than usual due to higher communication costs and research difficulties.
Regarding the estimated budget, for cross-border projects like this, the estimate is generally around 400,000 to 800,000 yen. If necessary, we can also handle translations, so please feel free to consult us.
